It’s annual review time!! That time of year you dread. It’s the single most critical process impacting your employees’ performance, attitude, and engagement, but you have no idea what you’re doing. The only “training” you’ve had is when you’ve been on the receiving end of a review. This is problematic because how you conduct your employees’ reviews affects your working relationships. It’s like the story of Goldilocks. You have to hit the right balance between too soft and too hard or lose your credibility as an objective reviewer.
That’s where I come in. I have 30 years of helping managers navigate the landmines inherent in the performance review process. I’ll prepare you to comfortably and expertly discuss gaps as easily as strengths, goals, and development opportunities.
Included in the coaching is a review of the performance documents to address any legal concerns etc. We’ll also have one or more in-depth coaching sessions to prepare talking points, discuss techniques, and, if desired, perform role playing exercises.
